Privacy policy
Verse Wallpaper keeps what's yours on your phone. It collects no personal data, and has no accounts, ads or tracking.
Your photos
You choose photos in Android's own photo picker. The app has no permission to read your photo gallery and only receives the photos you pick. Those photos are resized and stored privately inside the app on your phone. They are never uploaded or shared.
Verses, favourites and settings
Your favourite verses and settings are stored only on your phone. The app connects to the internet only to download Bible text from the Free Use Bible API (bible.helloao.org). These requests ask for Bible chapters and contain no personal information.
If Android backup is turned on, Android may include the app's settings and favourites in your own Google account backup. This is controlled by you in your phone's settings.
Purchases
"Unlock everything" is a one-time purchase made through Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by Google under Google's privacy policy. The app only learns whether the purchase has been made. It never receives your payment details.
No tracking
The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. The developer only sees the anonymous, combined statistics that Google Play provides to all developers, such as the number of downloads and crash reports.
Children
The app collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
